Projenin Amacı: Aydınlık Sokaklar projesi, şehir aydınlatmalarındaki gereksiz enerji harcamalarını en aza indirgemeyi hedeflemektedir.
Şehir aydınlatmaları, gece araçlar ile seyahat ederken veya yürürken bize sağladığı konforun yanı sıra trafik kazalarından, olası diğer kazalardan bizleri koruma görevini üstlenen olmazsa olmaz koruyucu araçlardır. Fakat bu koruyucular, görevlerini yerine getirirken oldukça fazla enerji tüketmektedirler. Ekipçe bu korkunç tüketim sorununa sayısız çözüm fikri bulduk, fakat uygulanabilirlik açısından en elverişli olana karar vermek zorundaydık. En nihayetinde en güvendiğimiz fikirlerden biri olan Aydınlık Sokaklar Projesinin prototipini yapmak için çalışmalara başladık.
